Dr. Harman recommends bringing children in at the age of three years old, unless parents see something of concern before then. Adults should come in for a checkup twice each year. Hygiene visits are essential to your oral health. They allow us to catch signs of cavities, decay, and gum disease earlier, so we can minimize the amount of treatment you have to receive. Plus, we will give you insight as to how you can improve your at-home dental habits to prevent further issues from arising. During a routine cleaning, we will make sure to brush, floss and remove plaque from your teeth to give you a gleaming smile.
Whether you need a full or partial set of dentures, we can create them customized for you. They will be made using accurate measurements of your mouth to ensure that they fit comfortably and work functionally. No one will ever know they aren’t real teeth.
We perform major restorations only when ethically necessary. If a tooth has undergone serious trauma, is deeply decayed or broken beyond repair, an major restoration will be needed. We will remove the tooth and the root, and then you can choose either a dental implant or a partial denture to replace the tooth. Both options will be completely functional and will look like natural teeth.
We understand that major restorations can be intimidating. Our team will always work to make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible while in our office. You will be thoroughly informed as to how to take care of yourself after the restoration, so that we can minimize your recovery time.

At Lakeside Dental: Aaron S. Harman, D.D.S., we use state-of-the-art equipment for our in-office laser whitening treatment. Our laser is extremely effective at applying our high-power bleaching gel. This is a safe and quick procedure that will make a drastic difference to your smile without appearing unnatural.
We also offer bleaching trays that allow you to bleach from home. We educate our patients on how they can maintain their brighter, whiter smile at home by adjusting their diet, proper brushing habits, and more.
Crowns and bridges are both restorative options for your teeth. When your tooth is decayed or broken but doesn’t need an extraction, we can apply a crown to increase the strength, stability and health of the tooth. A crown is a cap that is placed over the top of the tooth to prevent further damage, and it can be custom-colored to match the shade of the rest of your teeth, making it undetectable.
A bridge is used to fill in a gap between teeth. We connect two crowns on either side of the gap and then place a false tooth in between. A bridge will help prevent jaw damage as well as allow you to chew and speak easier and increase your confidence.
If you have a cavity, we will remove the decay and apply a tooth-colored filling. Our fillings are created from a custom-colored resin that will blend in seamlessly with the rest of your smile.
